mono

Victor Mono

Victor Mono was designed by Rune Bjørnerås and released in 2019. It is built around a distinctive choice: the italic variant is a true cursive — flowing, connected letterforms modelled on handwriting rather than a slanted or modified version of the upright. This makes Victor Mono one of the few monospaced families where the italic carries a genuinely different visual register, useful for distinguishing comments, strings, or annotations from surrounding code without changing font size or weight.
