Ubuntu Sans Mono

Ubuntu Sans Mono is part of the Ubuntu Font Family, released under the Ubuntu Font Licence. It was designed by Dalton Maag with the same humanist principles as its proportional siblings: rounder apertures, slightly informal construction, and stroke contrast borrowed from broad-nib calligraphy rather than mechanical typewriter parts. This gives it a warmer texture in continuous text and distinguishes it from the geometric neutrality of most programming-oriented monospaces.
