Roboto
Roboto was designed by Christian Robertson and released by Google in 2011 as the default system typeface for Android. It is a neo-grotesque with mechanical skeleton and largely geometric forms, while allowing natural letter width variation. The design has been revised multiple times; the current version (v3, 2022) is a variable font with a more refined structure.
