Merriweather

Merriweather was designed by Eben Sorkin at SorkinType and first released in 2011. Built with screen readability as its primary goal, the family uses a large x-height, slightly condensed letterforms, and sturdy slab serifs to maintain legibility at body text sizes. It covers four weights with matching italics and a version extending to Light and Heavy cuts through the variable axis.
