Merienda

Merienda was designed by Eduardo Tunni and released in 2012. It occupies a position between casual handwriting scripts and formal calligraphic display. Its stroke contrast is more pronounced than most informal script faces, letterforms are more controlled, and the connecting strokes carry the discipline of practised calligraphic writing rather than spontaneous handwriting. The family runs from Light to Black across seven weights on a single upright axis with no italic. It covers Latin, Latin-extended, and Vietnamese. The wide weight range makes it useful across display and caption-scale applications where a consistent script identity is needed at multiple sizes.
