Hepta Slab
Hepta Slab was designed by Mike LaGattuta and released in 2019. It is a geometric slab serif — slab terminals with circular or near-circular stroke endings rather than the bracketed, calligraphic serifs of humanist or transitional slabs. The design is clean and structurally regular, with consistent stem widths and minimal eccentricity in the letterforms. Its nine-weight variable font spanning Thin to Black gives it considerable range: at light weights it can function as a refined editorial body face; at heavy weights the geometric structure makes it effective for bold headings and display applications. No italic is available, which is a practical limitation for extended body text use but less of a constraint for headline and interface contexts.
