Doto

Doto was designed by Roman Lupashko and released in 2024. The design is built on a strict dot-matrix grid — every glyph is composed of circular dots arranged on a fixed raster, referencing the LED and LCD readout technology of digital displays from the 1970s through 1990s. The construction is fully consistent: no glyph departs from the grid, giving the family a strong technological character. Doto is the only family in this catalog with a digital-readout aesthetic. It ships with no italic, as the dot-matrix grid does not accommodate oblique construction without abandoning the design premise. Nine weights are available on Fontsource, from Thin to Black.
