Domine

Domine was designed by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida at Impallari Type and released in 2013. It is a slab serif optimised for text-size reading on screen. Its design emphasises rendering quality at small sizes through controlled stroke contrast, moderate x-height, and robust slab terminals that remain distinct even at 14–16 px. The family covers four weights as a variable font. Domine does not include an italic — it is designed as a body-text workhorse rather than a display or literary face — and is well suited to content-dense editorial contexts, documentation sites, and reading interfaces where a clean, stable slab at small sizes is the primary requirement.
