Comfortaa

Comfortaa was designed by Johan Aakerlund and first released in 2008. It is a geometric sans-serif constructed exclusively from rounded elements — every terminal, join, and curve is curved rather than cut flat. This rounding is the design's defining constraint: it produces a friendly, even quality across all glyphs. Comfortaa has no italic; rounding makes oblique construction visually incoherent, and Aakerlund chose not to include one. The family covers Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts, running from Light through Bold on a single upright axis. It works at display scale and at moderately large UI sizes, but its rounded construction reduces legibility in continuous text.
