Azeret Mono

Azeret Mono was designed by Displaay Type Foundry and released in 2020. It belongs to the slab-mono genre: fixed-width spacing combined with visible bracketed serifs on every stroke. Where programming-oriented monospaces aim for maximum neutrality, Azeret Mono uses its serifs to build texture and visual weight on the page. This makes it a better fit for editorial, headline, or branding contexts than for long sessions of code review.
