Archivo was designed by Omnibus-Type and released in 2013 as an open-source family. It is a grotesque sans with a compact width, large x-height, and high legibility at body text sizes. The design is straightforward and functional, drawing from Akzidenz-Grotesk traditions but adapted for contemporary digital use.
